Herschel Supply x G-Shock Collaboration

Herschel & Casio G-SHOCK Partner to Release A New Military-Inspired Timepiece for Holiday 2019, their first-ever watch release.

Herschel Supply is proud to announce its partnership with esteemed Japan-based electronics manufacturing company, Casio G-SHOCK, to release a new timepiece, Herschel G-Lide. This marks Herschel Supply’s first foray into the watch market.

A favourite choice among the world’s top surfers, action sports athletes, and streetwear enthusiasts alike, Herschel re imagines G-SHOCK’s signature GLX5600 model, borrowing elements from the traditional colors and utility through a military inspired design.

The digital time piece is engraved with the phrase, “YOU CAN SURF LATER," on the stainless-steel back cover, referencing the DIY mottos and designs soldiers would engrave onto their Zippo® lighters. The Herschel G-Lide is also outfitted with a durable matte army Green resin case and band, Gun Metal IP buckle, Dark Green screen-printed Herschel Supply logo and HSCO First Watch Division branding and a Yellow face with mineral glass highlighted by auto electroluminescent (EL) backlight technology with afterglow functionality—a subtle nod to the right-angle Olive Drab Fulton MX-991/U flashlight still used by the United States Army.

The new watch is perfect for field and water activities in any weather thanks to its tide graph and moon data capabilities. The collaborative timepiece comes in an exclusive Herschel Supply Dark Green tin case and co-branded G-SHOCK for Herschel Supply box.
