G-SHOCK is marking its 40th year of pursuing unmatched toughness with a limited edition. Based on the full-metal GM-B2100, this new model has been specially designed with an aged finish that gives it a vintage look. The GM-B2100 is an octagon-shaped analog model that inherits the concept of the first G-SHOCK model (DW-5000C). The dial also features the same red, blue, and gold coloring as the first- generation DW-5000C.

The bezel and band start with a black ion-plated (IP) coating that is then partially peeled off to give the watch an aged finish. The hands feature beige luminescence that also evokes the appearance of age.

The back of the watch is engraved with the CASIO 40th anniversary logo designed by Eric Haze, and the band's clasp is engraved with a SHOCK RESIST mark. This model is available with a special collection bag created in collaboration with PORTER. The octagonal shape of the bag reflects that of the GM-B2100VF. The bag is made of luxurious, densely woven, water-repellent Ventile® fabric, with a leather patch featuring the G-SHOCK 40th anniversary logo.

PORTER YOSHIDA & CO., LTD. (Yoshida Kaban) was founded in 1935 by bag craftsman Kichizo Yoshida. The Porter company brand was launched in 1962. Under the motto of "One Stitch, One Soul," the company continues to produce bags in Japan. The "Porter" brand name was chosen out of respect for the porters who carry the luggage of travelers at hotels, stations, and other locations, and who are always aware of luggage quality.
