These new models are based on the GM-S5600, which is a smaller and thinner version of the square GM-5600, the original G-SHOCK model. Compared to the previous GM-S5600 series, the band has been shortened to fit smaller wrists and enhance wearability.

The bezels of these models have a metal cover that adds a feel of quality. High-luminance LED illumination vividly lights up the LCD for excellent visibility even in the dark.
